Great Southern Loan is proud to be recognised as the oldest non-bank securitised home lender in Australia.
We still hold within our portfolio, the first ever non-bank securitised Home Loan written in Australia. This loan has been continually serviced and maintained within our operation since 1992, and originated out of our South Australian office.
We commenced our original operations back in 1983 and since that time, our position in the lending industry has been strengthened by our evolving business capabilities and expanding lending network.
Our origins in the home mortgage market provided us with first hand experience which paved the way for growth into other finance areas such as commercial and equipment finance. Since our humble beginnings in Adelaide, we have expanded our business into Sydney allowing us to service loans Australia wide.
